Gibbs Farm

Gibb’s Farm’s rustic charm and gracious accommodations provide an ideal sanctuary for a few day’s respite while on safari or for an extended vacation or honeymoon getaway. The 1929 farmhouse and five cottages comprised the original guesthouse in 1972. Today, 17 guest cottages—each featuring a unique theme and richly appointed with eucalyptus floors, hand-crafted furniture, two queen-size beds, indoor and outdoor showers, a fireplace and private verandah—provide an elegant home away from home, with all of the cozy comforts. A cottage with a common living area and two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms is available for families or couples traveling together.

The bright, airy dining rooms are a delightful way to begin and end each day. The rustic style of the farmhouse has been replicated throughout the dining rooms, which feature exposed trusses, adzed beams, wooden ceilings, iron work and old stone fireplaces. With soaring glass windows that frame the coffee fields and majestic distant views, the dining rooms combine an upscale, down-home decor with forest-inspired colors to create a cozy, elegant setting.Throughout the day, our culinary team dishes up delectable cuisine. In the morning, fresh-roasted organic Arabica coffee and a bountiful breakfast offers a wonderful assortment of dishes to sustain you.  Mid-day, a farmhouse buffet offers a delectable array of hearty soups, breads, quiches and desserts to re-energize you. After the sun sets, replenish with expertly prepared, farm-to-table organic cuisine as you dine by candlelight and share the day’s adventures. Guests may also enjoy a full bar featuring specialty cocktails and an extensive wine list.
