If you’re an early riser enjoy a coffee at your private beach side bungalow as the local fisherman “pole” their way to deeper waters in traditional dhow sailing boats singing a rhythmic melody that has been sang for centuries. If you want something a little more exciting then kite holidays have boomed in the last decade with favorable winds and the Jambiani lagoon and bay making the best kindergarten for beginners and experts alike. A beach holiday in Zanzibar certainly offers a little magic and even romance for everyone with the added bonus that after a short flight you could be on game drives in the wilds of Serengeti plains viewing Tanzania’s abundant wildlife.

Day 1: Arrival & Stone Town
Arrival at Zanzibar Airport where you will be collected and transfer to your hotel located in the heart of Stone town.

Day 2: Stone Town
Today you have a full day to explore the historical city of Stone Town at your own leisure. Take in the sights such as the House of Wonders, The Old Fort, The Slave Market and the Catholic Church. At night Forodhani park over looking the ocean comes alive with Forodhani night market. Here you can sample a variety of seafood barbecued in front of you or sample the famous Zanzibar Mix or Zanzibari Pizza.

Day 3: Beach
After a leisurely breakfast, transfer to the beach location of your choice.
