Zanzibar Island lays just a 20 minute flight from Tanzania mainland and few safari seekers know that you can fly directly in or out of the world famous Serengeti plains or Lake Manyara to this stunning Island. Hang up your safari outfit, pull out your swimming gear and head to nearest white sand beach armed with your favorite novel, your favorite cocktail and a whole mind full of safari experiences. Zanzibar is the most popular of three islands with a history stretching back to the Sultans which is very much evident if spending time immersed in old “Stone Town”. But in true Bush2Beach style away from the crowd’s style Mafia and Pemba which make up the main island chain of the Zanzibar Archipelago are also a stone’s throw away from each other. All offer excellent water sports opportunities with Mafia boasting excellent chances to snorkel with whale sharks and dive in “Chole bay” marine reserve. Pemba not to be forgotten has world class big game fishing, some serious drift diving for the experienced scuba diver out there and with only a hand full of beach lodges to choose from you are assured of the private beach, island getaway wherever you decide to head to, as it has to be said Tanzania has it all under one big African Sky.

Day 1: Arrival & Beach
Arrival at Zanzibar Airport where you will be collected and transfer to Sunshine Hotel located on the East Coast of the Island in Matemwe Village. Check in at the hotel and enjoy some pure beach relaxation.
