North Eastern Tanzania & Wild Swahili Coast

This adventure safari is for those who like to be active. It is designed in a way that allows you not only to get close with Tanzania wildlife but also to take in some of the most impressive wilderness locations, whilst you uncover a un-trodden trail “away from the madding crowds” allowing local village life to envelope you with a 1000 warming smiles. You can walk in the shadows of Mt Meru towering above you at 4566 meters – ( separate 4 day hikes of Mt Meru are also possible ), take to the water with a classic canoeing safari allowing you to get close to wildlife and birdlife as you glide silently under over hanging trees. A scenic drive through to the beginning of the Eastern Arc Mountains to explore and discover Mkomazi National Park with an adventurous 4 x 4 trail that will deliver you to the cooler climates of the Usamabara mountains ranges. Unlimited walks are possible from here – day hikes (or again multi day hikes taking in different villages as you proceed to rest houses to overnight also possible). The windswept coastline of the Indian ocean is your final destination for more exploration and relaxation.
