Day 1: Arrival
Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport where you will be collected and transfer to your Arusha accommodation
O/n Ilboru Lodge (D)
Day 2: Arusha to Esilalei Maasai Community
After a leisure breakfast depart from Arusha and drive through ever changing landscapes to the Maasai community of Esilalei and Isoitok camp. Enjoy a hot lunch. In the afternoon meet with your local Maasai guide. Get a better understanding of the natural medicines still used on a daily basis with a Maasai medicine walk of the surrounding area. The continue on a short walk to the local view point to soak up the views over Lake Manyara and the great Rift Valley escarpment, while enjoying a cool drink and some snacks.

Day 3: Lake Manyara
Early morning meet with your Maasai guide and continue down to a traditional Maasai Boma (mud dwelling) for an introduction into the Maasai way of life, beliefs and rituals. Then enjoy breakfast before departing to Lake Manyara National Park for game drives of this very diverse park. If you are lucky you may see the famous tree climbing lions. Picnic lunch in the bush followed by game drives until late -afternoon – then slowly make your way out of the park and return to the camp.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater
Early morning depart to Ngorongoro and descend into the crater for game drives. There are 25,000 large mammals residing in the park. The elephants are mainly bulls, females stay out of the park due to it boasting the largest predator population in Africa. Black Rhino also make their home on the grassy plains, their numbers make up for almost half of what can still be found in East Africa; about 20 in total.
O/n Ang’ata Ngorongoro Camp (B, L, D)
Day 5: Ngorongoro to Central Serengeti
Morning wake-up call with bird chorus. After breakfast you head via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to the endless plains of Serengeti. Game drive en-route to central Serengeti – explore the many different areas of the park, your driver guide will advice on the best places to visit.
O/n Kiota Camp (B, L, D)
Day 6: Central Serengeti to Northern Serengeti
Optional: Early morning head out for a Balloon flight. View the Serengeti plains from a hot air balloon followed by champagne breakfast on the landing site.
A full day of game drives in Serengeti National Park making your way from central Serengeti to Northern Serengeti in search of the great migration. You will enjoy a packed lunch on route.

Day 7: Northern Serengeti
A full day to explore northern Serengeti in search of the great migration.
Either start the day with an early game drive and packed breakfast before returning to camp for a hot lunch and rest before your afternoon game drive. Alternatively enjoy breakfast in camp before heading out on a full day game drive with a packed lunch.

Day 8: Northern Serengeti
A full day to explore northern Serengeti in search of the great migration.
Either start the day with an early game drive and packed breakfast before returning to camp for a hot lunch and rest before your afternoon game drive. Alternatively enjoy breakfast in camp before heading out on a full day game drive with a packed lunch.

Day 9: Flight to Arusha, Transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport
After breakfast at the lodge take a short game drive on route to Kogatende airstrip in time for your morning flight to Arusha. On arrival you will be transferred to Arusha Coffee Lodge for lunch before heading off to Kilimanjaro International Airport in time for your departing international flight, end of services. (B, L)
